Differential Fee Policy for Domestic and International Services

Purpose

This policy establishes a transparent and standardized system for charging differential fees to domestic (Indian) students and foreign (international) students enrolling in online courses offered by the institution. The objective is to account for additional administrative, regulatory, technical, and support-related costs associated with enrolling international learners.

Scope

This policy applies to:

• All services, certificate, diploma, degree, and training programs offered.

• The additional fee charged to international students to cover the extra operational, administrative, and compliance-related costs.

Payment Terms

• All international fee payments must be made through approved international gateways.

• Fees will be denominated in either INR or USD/other currency as decided by the institution.

• Exchange rates applied will follow the conversion rate at the time of payment.

 

Fee Structure Principles

- Base Fee for Indian Students

The base tuition fee set for Indian students will serve as the standard course fee.

-Additional Fee for International Students

International students will be charged an additional fee, which may include:

• Currency conversion and banking costs

• Global compliance and documentation processing

• Dedicated international student support

• Higher platform bandwidth and infrastructure cost for global delivery

Refund & Cancellation

Refunds for international students will follow the institution’s standard refund policy, except for:

• Currency conversion fees

• International transaction charges
  These are non-refundable due to third-party processing constraints.

Non-Discrimination Clause

The differential fee is based solely on logistical and administrative costs related to international enrollment and is not based on race, ethnicity, religion, or nationality.
