Advance Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) Course will allow you to learn administrative level of LIMS directly from Application user interface, lecturer will provide details of each modules mentioned below by using live LIMS Application. 

Candidates will learn administrative LIMS knowledge like creation and management of users, configuration of LIMS application from front end, job scheduler configuration, etc all admin level task.

We use Live LIMS application to provide the details of of nuances of LIMS, however cost of this module is slightly high from basic LIMS course to accommodate license fees of application.

• Step-by step guide on installation and configuration of LabWare LIMS 8 Application, Database and Web servers.

Module -2 Managing Users and Handling Active User Sessions in LabWare LIMS 8

• Understanding User Administrative settings, Groups, Roles and Privileges

• Overview of Investigating issues in Active sessions folders

 

Module -3 Using Debugger & LIMS Query Window

• Understanding different debug options to check errors in Routines

• Using Query window to execute SQL queries in LIMS database

 

Module -4 : Creating Schedulers in Labware LIMS 8

• Configuring different types of schedulers

• Understanding properties of a scheduler

• Configuring Scheduler for Calibration/EM module

 

Module -5 Working with Subroutines, Menu-Routines, Format Calculations

• Purpose of SubRoutine, Menu-Routine and Format Calculations in LabWare LIMS

• Understanding LIMS Basic language

• Using various Build-in Functions for Conditions and Loops

 

Module - 6 Understanding Parser scripting in LabWare LIMS 8

• Practical session to write script for extraction of result from any raw-data (txt/csv/pdf)

• Practical session to understand various Built-in functions for drafting a parser script

Module -7 Extracting results from PDF documents using Parser, Subroutine and LabWare LIMS Scheduler

Module - 9 Introduction to Calibration module in LabWare LIMS

• Understanding Instrument master, Creating Calibration events, Mapping Product with Instrument Master and

• Creating Scheduler for Calibration & Preventive Maintenance events.
